ARBORETUM

Arboretum is a collection of woody plants. The aims of creating this section are to do research on woody plants to find species with different properties to make benefit of their wood in industry, to find shade trees and trees to be used in landscaping as well as the species suitable for desertification. It also will be used for educational purposes and tourist attraction. 

 This section of garden covers an area of 14 hectares. There are two lakes connected by a river. There is an asphalt road of 720 meters and path ways 6400 meters long connecting different parts of collection. Also, three bridges have been created on the river and between the lakes. The collection is designed based on different woody plants families and habit of species. The main  woody species of this collection are as follows:

Magnolia soulangeana, Hovenia dulcis, Eucalyptus gongylocarpa, Prunus lusitanica, Pinus brutia, Picea pungens, Juniperus virginiana, Pinus densiflora.
