European Habitat

Habitat of  Europeis 2.4 hectare in area. The collection is bounded from south by Caspian plot, from east by the exhibition Plot, from west by the collection of broad-leaved evergreens and from north by the main road of the garden.

The iterance is a designed porch influenced by Greek architecture. A north-south passage characterized by parapet and brick columns and, planted with rose and Clematis divides the plot into two parts including Europa1 and “ Mashahir” (The famous).

Europe 1 is a relatively symmetrical garden consisted of a pavement, oval water features, turf areas and gentel dome-like hills covered with perennial and seasonal grass and shrubs.

Mashahir, is like a boulevard in which statues of five famous European botanist (Linae, Darwin, Mendel, Bouasie, Reshinger) has been erected. Both sides of the road are used to plant endemic European trees and shrubs species based on their geographical distribution in Europe.
